i have been to skiathos twice both times to troulos. the first time i stayed at apartments above the beach and the second at the hotel troulos bay. the resort is covered in tavernas, most within walking distance. i would reccomend the apaloosa, run by (captain) nikos docos, and the small poolside bar at the astoria hotel.

We were at Troulos a few years ago and i loved it it was peaceful and had a lovely beach we went in June and it was red hot,We use to go to the harbour at Skiathos town and go on the hydrofoil to the other greek islands that are nearby we had a brillant holiday thinking of going back this year.
