TROULOS
Troulos offers a scenic landscape of olive trees and a typical sandy beach. It is the most developed tourist area apart from Skiathos Town. Troulos took its name from the small islet lying in front of it in the sea, that looks like a dome. It is located on the road from Skiathos town to Koukounaries after the crossroad to the monastery of Panagia Eikonistria at a distance of about 10 km from Skiathos town and 5 km from Koukounaries.

You can reach Troullos by road and enjoy a swim in the bluish - green transparent waters under the shade of the pine trees which reach almost the sea water. There are numerous hotels, hostels, supermarkets, bars and tavernas in Troullos and also watersports are available on the long, sandy beach.
